They are so much more relational than us, and humble before our Creator it truly is an inspiration. At one point during one of our break out sessions Jane, a sweet lady that I met on this trip, started explaining that maybe the Mexican people are better off having less than us.
God is so beautiful and these Psalms really brought peace to us, and connected to us on such a relational level.
I really enjoyed the fact that we broke into small groups both mornings and discussed Psalm 23 and 25 ( which we had been asked to study for our quiet times) it was so refreshing to hear what other people were getting from these Psalms. It took me a while to realize, “wow these people actually LIVE like this”. Having been to mexico on multiple missions trips I found myself desensitized to the poverty that I was surrounded by. This weekend I was privileged to go on a trip with Love God, Love People.
